Abstract

The guidelines of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) make necessary the rethinking of many of the current evaluation models. This paper presents an alternative evaluation model applied in the Cultural Management course of the Humanities undergraduate program at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. This model is based on the methodological processes described as a continuum of rationally assembled evaluation formats, which can vary from simple answers created by the students to demonstrations or collections of work/projects collected in a determinate period of time. With the aim of empowering the debate between researchers and institutions about the possibilities of the alternative evaluation models, we present this experience applied during the spring semester of the academic year 2009-2010.
