Un applet como escenario para el aprendizaje de la flotabilidad con estudiantes de cuarto grado de primaria

Understanding the basic properties of matter such as mass, volume and density are fundamental to learn other concepts that are more complex. However, studies have shown that despite the school activity, previous ideas about the properties associated with the phenomenon of buoyancy remain almost unchanged in students who show difficulties in relating the flotation of bodies with different densities. This line is not extraordinary that part of science classes is to design and develop an environment mediated by computer applications to contribute to the learning of the most basic properties of matter and its behavior towards the phenomenon of buoyancy. From these considerations fourth graders of elementary school participate in a structured setting in three stages, predictions exploration, experimentation, and the formulation of conclusions.
