Abstract

Distance education is a reality when it comes to teaching methods. This study provides anhistorical survey of the evolution of education in this modality on the global, Brazilian and interactions with a specialization course with the use of virtual learning environment, Moodle.The survey was conducted in a qualitative way through a literature review, observation, documentary analysis and collective research, person and via web conferencing with students from ten classes in municipal public administration, to understand their perceptions about the methodology and learning in the distance education course offered, besides the two surveys were conducted through questionnaires which were evaluated in the basic module and specific that made up the curriculum. The result of the study inclines us to understand that despite employing current technologies aimed at learning of this type, the data obtained show the importance of dialogue and affection in relations between the institution and students..
