Abstract

In this article we explore the possibility of producing texts for pupils of pre-primary education based on the constructivist principle that the meaning of texts can be achieved through the application of various strategies and techniques. To demonstrate this, we present a written invitation as a sample text and then we outline the different task which were carried out by the pupils on this text as well as the different stages of the activities. We conclude that it is necessary to combine various communicative task which involve inferring the meaning of written language through graphical aspects of the text with tasks of linguistic support so that the child can progress in the decoding and gradual identification of words.
