Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of interdisciplinary in the teaching-learning process. It also talks about the use of active methods as ways of applying these concepts in teaching. It reports the experience of the Graduation Course on Administration at PUC-Campinas - Brazil in adopting active methodology, more specifically the teaching method of Problem Based Learning and Case Study (PBL / EC). It says that the use of the method allow a more intensive and active participation of students in developing the content and how this practice caused them to feel more responsible for their results. It concludes reporting that the adoption of an active methodology in a Business Administration course provides an opportunity to develop in students skills and attitude of knowing and the establishment of critical awareness.
