Abstract

This paper aims to describe a teaching experience in blended learning, whose focus is the training of teachers who are authors of materials for distance education (DE). The training course stemmed from the need to train teachers to produce content within a specialization course in distance mode. The training duration was 52 class hours from which 40 class hours distance (four lessons with 10 class hours each) and 12 class hours classroom (three classroom meetings with 4 class hours each). Course participants were 15 teachers who produce educational material for the Specialization Course in Design and Project Management for Municipal Water Management sponsored by Agência Nacional de Águas (ANA) and developed by Instituto de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Ceará (IFCE). The training course was structured from four themes: 1 Distance learning: concepts, laws, characteristics and models; 2. Concepts and stages of production planning and teaching materials; 3. Writing textbooks for distance education texts; 4. Interactive and multimodal writing a web-module in e-book format.
