Abstract

This article aims to provide elements of analysis in order to vindicate the need to promote education in values and human rights as a fundamental axis of all educational activities. In this way, it begins by theoretically breaking down the very concept of value and human rights and their socio-political meaning, to move on, from a more methodological perspective, to review the role of reflection and dialogue within values education and as mediating strategies for the prevention and resolution of conflicts, finally providing a series of principles and practical resources to work on these issues in specific educational contexts.
