Teacher training for the use of educational laptops: reflections on the teaching of geometry

This article aims at analyzing reflections on the pedagogical practice of two teachers participating in a continuing education of teachers for teaching geometry with the use of educational laptop. This article is an excerpt of research that investigates an action continuing education of teachers who teach mathematics in the early years of elementary school and their contributions to the teaching of plane geometry using the software Klogo. The research was developed with teachers in the municipality of Terenos / MS awarded with the UCA project (One Laptop per Child). The theoretical research consists of studies on the constructionist approach and the cycle of actions, in addition to studies on reflective practice. Data were obtained from audio recordings made during the group meetings, and analysis of the planning and development of lessons conducted by teachers investigated here. From the data analysis it was possible to identify teachers' reflections about their pedagogical practices with laptops, and obstacles to these reflections.
