The formation of social volunteering in the field of disability

The overall objective that we set consists of an investigation on the formation of social volunteering in the field of disability in the province of Almería.
Methodologically ourselves in the paradigm naturalistic, due to the need to analysis in and from the reality that generates the object of study, without manipulation or alteration of the material and personal circumstances; specifically, in the study of collective cases (Stenhouse, 1990;) Stake, 1994; (Single Fernández, 2007). It is a design of descriptive and selective mode, which uses the method of survey and as instruments questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, analysis of documents, and the journal of field.
Based on the analysis of the data we present the most significant conclusions related to the formative role played by associations working to assist people with disabilities in our province, as well as those who carried out the public or private institutions evaluating perceptions volunteers, teachers, and administrators about the initial and continuing training received by volunteers.
The conclusions that we pose us the need for an alternative proposal for improvement of training in the field of volunteering and disability, proposed that takes as a framework of reference needs and which is based on the analysis of the context and collective serving the purpose which aims to.
