Abstract

This article deals with the new educational model of a Chilean private university, which is currently being implemented. From a critical and reflexive standpoint, this analysis falls into the curricular studies category and uses said institutional framework to assess various aspects that are essential for the pedagogical decision-making task. The argument is that the above-mentioned institutional document has deep theoretical and practical implications for curriculum design and development. Without being conclusive, it offers a wide range of curricular elements that might be useful for reflection purposes by the integrating agents of any given Ibero-American university or Higher Education Institution (HEI).
