Abstract

Theree are various models of orientation that guide the guiding action. In order to try to systematize it, we will present, in this article, the different models that serve as frames of reference when designing action plans in the field of orientation. In this framework, we will delve into a specific model, the service intervention model, since it allows developing a psycho-pedagogical intervention with an eminently preventive, group nature and close to the principles of social and educational intervention. We will stop to know the advantages and disadvantages of this model of counseling and psychopedagogical intervention. We finish the article commenting on several of the existing guidance services in both Europe and Spain.
