Análise dos livros de atletismo: subsídio para o ensino na Educação Física Escolar

To identify the teaching perspective in Athletics books this research was guided by the collection of Brazilian papers, Portuguese or translated to Portuguese. Based in the Content Analysis, the books were divided in: “Statutory and Historical aspects”, “Training Aspects”, “Teaching Aspects” and “Health Aspects”. The books classified as “Teaching Aspects” were subdivided into “Technical” and “Pedagogical” and analyzed about “Teaching Location”; “Teaching Subject”; “Used Materials”; “Ways of teaching” and “What they teach”. The different perspectives and ways of teaching revealed various possibilities of work with Physical Education
