Abstract

The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) is a multicomponent and selective project to prevent behavioural problems. Between 2005 and 2011 the program has been implemented in 46 groups: 14 groups with families from care centers related to drug dependency, mainly Proyecto Hombre centers in Spain, 30 groups of families linked to social service centers in the Balearic Islands and 2 groups of families were being supervised under the Juvenile Department of the Balearic Islands Government. In the paper we present a program description and a summary of the main results.
