Reflexive diary. An experience of learning in clinical nursing stays

This article shows the experience of the reflexive diary (RD) in the subject of Clinical Stays II Programme of the Degree in nursing as a narrative dimension that evokes and recalls the learning experience. It shows the advances as well as the emotions and feelings of students.
The RD is an essential learning document that allows the reflection of the author as well as the monitoring and guiding function of the teacher. It represents the starting point and a feedback that gathers the properties of relevance and timeliness.
This article aims to highlight the experience of the reflexive diary of a student and its relationship with its learning objectives.
Key conclusions are that the RD is a valid instrument for the dialogue and the evaluation contributing to show the experience in the practice; helping to detect and solve risky situations; encouraging self learning and improving self reflection process. The study ad research of the RD provides the access to privileged information that facilitates the improvement of practical learning.
