This paper is the result of a research conducted through exploratory-descriptive surveys aimed at specifying a cross-profile of the high school teacher profession. A profile that can define satisfaction levels regarding every day practices of teachers, and its impact on school. We have considered a sample of 524 high school teachers in continental Portugal, with whom we used the following survey tools:(1) a social-demographic information survey;(2) a satisfaction survey regarding the teaching profession;(3) a numeric scale of satisfaction profile of teachers regarding their profession.Data gathered shows significant levels of dissatisfaction among this particular group of teachers.
