Estudio exploratorio del efecto de los desajustes educativos sobre la satisfacción laboral de ingenieros de edificación españoles

Resumen

Es importante que la educación superior proporcione competencias a los estudiantes que les permitan mantener su empleabilidad en el entorno profesional. Además, los resultados de investigaciones confirman que existe una relación positiva entre la educación y la satisfacción laboral a través del sueldo. Las consecuencias de los desajustes educativos (sobreeducación e infraeducación) en empleados que trabajan como jefes de obra, y los defectos de su educación universitaria todavía no han sido analizadas. Este artículo presenta un estudio exploratorio que examina los desajustes educativos experimentados por ingenieros de edificación que trabajan como jefes de obra y analiza su relación con la satisfacción laboral. Para ello se ha utilizado una aproximación cualitativa a 34 entrevistas semi-estructuradas realizadas a 34 ingenieros de edificación y arquitectos técnicos. Se les preguntó sobre su educación superior y sobre las primeras experiencias profesionales gestionando obras de construcción
