Os modelos 1:1 na educação. Práticas internacionais, evidência comparada e implicações políticas

Durante a última década, cada vez mais agentes públicos e privados, tanto em países desenvolvidos como em países em vias de desenvolvimento, têm apoiado iniciativas 1:1 em educação (Um computador por aluno). Estas iniciativas representam um avanço qualitativo a partir de experiências educativas prévias com as TICs, já que cada criança tem acesso a um aparelho pessoal (normalmente um portátil, um mini-portátil ou aparelhos celulares). O documento trata de sistematizar a evidência mais destacada sobre tais iniciativas a partir de páginas web oficiais, de avaliações de programas e de meta-avaliações acadêmicas. Inclui-se informação sobre as expectativas destas políticas, os projetos dos programas e os desafios para uma implementação efetiva das iniciativas 1:1 em educação. Dada a limitada evidência de que se dispõe, o documento sublinha algumas dúvidas sem resposta sobre a efetividade-custo e os impactos educativos do 1:1 em educação.
