A self-evaluation model for the continuous improvement of Master Degrees is presented, aimed to reinforce the training of teachers subscribed in the Science and Tecnology Department of the Universidad PedagógicaNacional, in Bogotá (Colombia). The model integrates the evaluation of postgrade studies, consolidates specific criteria to define quality, and suggests factors, indicators and characteristics, process-centered, according to the nature of teacher professionalization, and teacher research training, directed to the instruction of mathematics, chemistry and communication technology applied to the education. The circulation of the model reveals the University commitment with a quality education, with the practice of the autonomy that the National Constitution provides, and it also contributes to the development of external evaluations effected by communities of specialists.
