El paisaje lingüístico en la formación del profesorado: ¿qué posibilidades existen en el contexto portugués?

Resumen

El paisaje lingüístico (PL) ha sido objeto de múltiples estudios, experimentos y proyectos en el ámbito de la educación. El presente artículo presenta un estudio sobre el potencial formativo del uso del PL como recurso educativo capaz de favorecer el desarrollo de competencias profesionales docentes. Una vez identificado el potencial educativo del PL, se analiza lo que ha sucedido en el contexto portugués en los programas de formación del profesorado para la diversidad lingüística y cultural. Más concretamente, y teniendo en cuenta el papel fundamental de los formadores en la preparación de los docentes para los nuevos enfoques pedagógico-didácticos en el proceso de enseñanza de idiomas, el presente estudio explora cómo el concepto de PL y las actividades de formación que se derivan de él movilizan enfoques plurales en los itinerarios de formación que se proponen a los docentes. El objetivo es comprender cómo, en el contexto portugués, se ha preparado a los docentes para observar, explorar y valorizar los entornos lingüístico-comunicativos multilingües que caracterizan cada vez más a nuestras comunidades. A partir de esta comprensión y sistematización, se proponen posibles caminos para integrar el PL en los programas de formación del profesorado
