This paper presents an experience in using the software GeoGebra in initial training that students receive from the Mathematical Physics teachers, at the University of Pedagogical Sciences Felix Varela Morales (Villa Clara, Cuba).
The experience aims to contribute to the professionalization of future teachers from the disciplines of the curriculum through the linking of geometric contents of the different subjects to the contents of the level for which they are prepared. It proposes, in addition, models of action which can be used during teaching practice and in future professional work.
Reference is made, also, to the theoretical considerations that gave rise to the experience and presents an assessment of the achievement of the proposed purposes.
