States must make a firm commitment to improving their educational systems. To this end, they must make an unwavering and unapologetic commitment to inter- and transdisciplinary education as widespread teaching methods at all levels, in order to train people who can understand reality from different angles and achieve results thanks to the knowledge of different disciplines combined. The coordinators of this monograph, Arcadio Sotto, Laura Arroyo and Almudena Santaella, professors at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, present a selection of theoretical or experimental research that studies educational realities from different countries, educational levels and areas of knowledge from a trans or interdisciplinary perspective.
